George Washington led a full and productive life. He was the leader of the army in the American Revolution. He was unanimously elected the first President of the United States. He is called the “Father of His Country.” This activity displays a timeline and a list of some of the major events in Washington’s life. Students place the events in the correct space on the timeline. The activity is ideal for 3rd – 5th grade but can be used as appropriate.
