Nouns are one of the first grammar concepts students learn about. Once they understand the concept, it’s important to distinguish between a common noun and proper noun. In this worksheet, your youngster will read a story and write the common nouns in one area and the proper nouns in another. They’ll learn that a proper noun gives the specific name of a person, place, or thing.
