Conclusions are an important part of writing. It is a short summary of the writing, meant to leave the reader with the basic information in the piece. In this exercise, students read a short article on The Tower of London that includes a short introduction and body. Students then write the conclusion. The activity is great for 4th and 5th grade, but can be used for other grades as appropriate.
