Abraham Lincoln is one of the most respected of the U.S. presidents. He kept the country together as it was torn by Civil War. A lawyer, legislator, and president, his life was full of important events. This activity includes a timeline and a list of some of the major events in Lincoln’s life. Students place the events in the correct space on the timeline. The activity is ideal for 3rd – 5th grade but can be used in other grades as appropriate.
