The Pilgrims signed the Mayflower Compact as a social contract for their new colony just a year before the first Thanksgiving. Your student will read the text of the document and determine the meaning of the phrases from the context. The worksheet is appropriate for practicing Common Core Standards for Reading Informational Text for grades 6-9. It may be used for other grades as needed.
