Sentence Diagramming: Intensive Pronouns

About this Worksheet:

A intensive pronoun is a pronoun ending in -self or -selves that is used for emphasis in a sentence but has no other function. It can be removed from the sentence without changing the meaning. In sentence diagramming the intensive pronoun is put in parentheses after the noun it refers to. This activity is designed for students in late Elementary school but is also helpful to middle school students working on sentence structure.
