Subject Verb Agreement
In correct English, both spoken and written, a subject and verb must agree. Just as a subject may be plural or singular, a verb or predicate may also be plural or singular. If the subject is a plural, the verb must also be plural, and the same for singular nouns and subjects; the verb must be singular.
